Thorny the life and career of poet he portrays through the contrasts: "…and with three weddings of legali, // and aresponse // drove escort"; "met home // and the house". And in order to subjected to withering criticism of the Emperor, M. Ushakov gives it a satirical feature, presenting thus the role of Shevchenko in the spiritual and national revival of the nation.

Peru M. Ushakov belongs almost forty translations of poems T. Shevchenko in Russian language, in particular "Wills". A Russian by birth, M. Ushakov considered Ukraine as their homeland. So, in poetry ("I'm from Moscow…") said, because for him the same birthplace, like Moscow, to him it has become attached soul. He translated the poem In. Sosiura "Love Ukraine" in Russian.

Leonid Vysheslavsky (1914-2002) was born in g. Nikolaev. His father was an engineer. The future poet first enters Kharkov electrotechnical Institute, subsequently studying biology at the University. Debuted the poem "night Shock" in the Kharkov magazine "the Red" in 1931 g. The first collection of poems "Hello, the sun" (1936) came in Kiev. The sources of the creative biography of L. Vysheslavsky deeply connected with Ukraine, its people, culture, poetry, nature. Not by chance a large and significant section of selected works called "Song of Dnieper" (1951). The poet translated into Russian the works of T. Shevchenko, I. F(tank, Lesja Ukrainka, P. Tychyna, M. Rylsky. He felt fine the Ukrainian word, that came into his life through the Ukrainian song.

This is evidenced by the poem "the Language" ("Sunflower dozed off. Delicious smell of the Mat ") (1951). Leonid Vysheslavsky, glorify the beauty of the Ukrainian language, folk songs, widely uses Ukrainian language ("girls", "Dnepro", "speech"), idioms ("place of Shevchenko and Franko"). To create national flavor, the author introduces to the Ukrainian poem images-symbols: "sunflower", "the steppe", "Cossack saber".

Ukrainian subjects are widely presented in the works of L. Vysheslavsky. He has a sonnet "Kosaral" (1955), dedicated T. Shevchenko. In this work the poet says, his "voice of truth as fresh and new, — // he is durable rivers and Islands". In poetry "Cherry" (1956) lyrical hero is fascinated by a childhood memory of an old orchard. A real summer comes to him with cherries, from which it is difficult to look away:

I with their eyes fixed upon, leaning her head back, a long standing…

Then she looked PoA in my soul baby.

Nikolayevshchina is "enchanted Desna" L. Vysheslavsky, in the work which is worthy of the space devoted to the native city of shipbuilders, nature (the book "Nikolaev kolbel", 2000).

Boris Chichibabin (Polushin) (1923-1994) belongs to the sixties. Was born in g. Kremenchuk, in the officer's family. The main part of his life were spent in Kharkov. The Chichibabin alias taken in honor of his grandfather on the maternal side of the famous chemist, academician Aleksei Chichibabin.

1940 g. B. Chichibabin has arrived on historical faculty of the Kharkov University, however, his studies were interrupted by war: he was drafted into the army. 1945 g. he entered the philological faculty of Kharkov University, but in the summer 1946 g. he was arrested and sentenced to five years for "anti-Soviet agitation". After returning from the camps, B. Chichibabin mainly writes lyrics civil, the special place in which takes the theme of the oppressed peoples of the USSR: Crimean Tatars, the Jews, "trampled liberties of the Baltic States". These motifs are intertwined with his love’s to Russia and Russian language, as well as to Ukraine.

A poem called "With Ukraine in the blood I live on earth Ukraine…" (1973) is soft and at the same time Patriotic pathos. The Mature poet is aware of, the history of Ukraine would have been much wiser and without the shedding of blood, if the town patron Saint, was built not on the dark North, and over free and generous Dnieper. Typical Patriotic motive — the memory of the smell of our native land — found a place here: before the reader sees the images of the steppes of Ukraine — the milkweed, chamomile, wormwood. The history of Ukraine for the poet is inseparably connected with G. Fry pan and T. Shevchenko.

Short was the life and career of Leonid Kiselev (1946-1968). This poet of the terrible disease (blood cancer) at the age of twenty-two passed away, about managed to leave a bright trace in the poetic anthology of Ukraine. Verses L. Kiseleva in the Ukrainian language you studied in seventh grade.

Leonid Kiselev born in Kiev in family of Russian writer Vladimir Kiselyov. He studied at the faculty of foreign languages of the University of Kiev, fond of foreign literature. Began writing poetry in Russian at the age of thirteen. 1963 g. in the Moscow journal "New world" was released a collection of his "poems Pervie". Verse "Kings" was taken ambiguously: in Kiev, he caused a sensation, and in Moscow — the outrage and protest, indeed, in this short essay, the grader L. Kiselev despises the king of Peter And, referring to the same T. Shevchenko:

Shevchenko says, unilateral, not Peter, and then golodnie, base treated NAT, he correctly wrote: In the swamp founded Petrograd. This is the first, what was crucified, over the long history of Russia — Ukraine, not a single good king.

Safely, as for the Soviet reality! Kyiv student then made corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences D. Pray. He claimed, what Peter And, and monument — Shrine, so the young poet is not good to speak against them. After this work of the young man stopped typing in Russian periodicals.

A few months before the death of Leonid, 12 April 2022 G., in the newspaper "Literary Ukraine" appears a compilation of his poems "First chords" (with a Preface And. Drach), Ukrainian. Why he decided to switch from Russian to Ukrainian? The poet was attracted the heart and thought to the Ukraine already in her first works, written Russian. In poetry "Place to die…"the artist becomes on protection of the Ukrainian language, stressing, the language of the titular nation of Ukraine humiliated ("abandoned language"), what "seoay eine no iskupitel us". As a convincing argument, in the Ukrainian language to write poetry and to convey different feelings, he recalls the Tychina: "brilliant post".

To write in Ukrainian Leonid encouraged father. In childhood he came under the influence of T. Shevchenko, later polished poetic talent in the sixties And. Drach and M. Vinogradovskogo, knew about the tragic fate of the lyrics In slim. Simonenko, fond of works L. Kostenko, In. Goloborodko. In the poem L. Kiseleva "I will forget everything both of them..."there are these lines:

I'll stand at the edge bezdni And suddenly understand, Lomas in anguish,Everything's just a song In Ukrainian ASIC.

On the question of friends: "Why in the Ukrainian language?"the poet replied: "Well, that I can't explain. I feel. And if you consider poetry a means of self-determination, you will have to deal with the fact, I was so slovesnaya…"
